I would put forward a vote for salisbury. Has the capability of holding numerous trucks in the bay, plus more in the sheds to the rear of the station.

As a standalone CFS station Goolwa is pretty big, not the biggest mind you.....

Nah we told them to get rid of it so they put their troop carrieir in there but thats gotta go as soon as our group get the logistics vehicle

I know this thread is re CFS only stations, BUT.....

Visited the new Clare headquarters for CFS and SES. This includes (I think) CFS Horrocks Group HQ. Very impressive.

They have very high roof, dual roller door sheds and a seperate single storey building at the back. The comms rooms have video monitoring on the sheds.

The helicopter landing field for the hospital is at the back of the new Headquarters.

The opening, I understand, is on 29th July.

hey all to start will people bagging salisbury station put up or shut up

if you would like to see why we at salisbury like it feel free to contact me and ill see what i can do to get you in to see it,

at this time the station is marked out to house 6 trucks in the main bay on top of that in can house a number of cars in the buildings out the back another 2 maybe 3 trucks and store another 4 or so cars if parked correctly.

aswell as parking large number of cars outdoors behind a locked gate and about 3-4 cars out front
and dont forget the disable car park!!

i never said we needed or had that many trucks all i said was that we could fit that many trucks

it is bullsh*t remarks like that that get peoples backs up

and for the record the is a number of calls that the red trucks chase the white trucks!!!!!!

Didnt see any union bashing in my post, just stating what they had already said. Although the UFU are well know as CFS bashers?

Its not CFS bashing - it protecting its members Nationally they will put any point across that serves their purpose. Thats their job - if you guys all joined the UFU then they might leave you alone.

Who cares if the CFS chase the MFS or how many calls they do a year, oh my station is bigger then yours! I don't think the public gives a scheiße who comes to their need. Whats with the bagging of other cfs brigades? Just stupid

Totally agree - include other sevices in that (just for the record we can fit four large & four QAV's in our shed )
