The chaser boys decided to do a mock motorcade and managed to get it into the exclusion zone with one of them dressed as Osama Bin Laden, they are now being detaianed by authorities.

I believe they planned to do this stunt for today, incase they were detained for 5 days...being released on Monday or Tuesday...Ready for filming of the weekly show on Tuesday night...quite smart!

Affirmative they showed it on the news on Channel 9 one of their(9's) cameraman got it as they went past him...complete with two Police motorcycles as escorts

They had 2 Black Suburban's and a Black Statesman with an Austrralian and canadian Flag on the front grill post.2 guys were dressed in black suits and walking alongside the Statesman and one almost had his foot run over.Another chasers member was also walking behind dressed in a suit and videoing it at the same time with a handycam they got past the first checkpoint and within 10 metres of the hotel when the gig was up

Eleven people from the ABC TV program The Chaser's War on Everything have been charged with offences under the new APEC legislation.
Eight ABC cast and crew members and three hired drivers have been charged with entering a restricted area without justification.
The group was arrested after staging a fake motorcade through Sydney's CBD and were stopped near the InterContinental Hotel where US President George W Bush is staying.
One of the Chaser crew was dressed as Osama bin Laden.
All 11 have been charged under the new APEC legislation with entering a restricted area without justification.
They were all granted bail, but on the condition that none of the group can enter any of the declared security zones during APEC.
Police say that while it appears the stunt was a prank, the current security environment was not the place to do it in.
The group did not offer any comment as they were released.

Just looked at the footage, definately not Police motorcycles.

Couple of guys on postie bikes with fluero vest and hazard lights on.
