I noticed suring the last few weeks that SAAS are back to wearing the green uniforms.

After the saga, what is different from the original green uniforms ?

Green two piece?.. Or are you referring to the Green Jackets?..

This may be confused, as the green jackets are still able to be worn.

I have only SAAS ambo's from the sholders up recently (lady driving in private car & two crew transporting a partial collapse patient from Currie St) and I saw green each time.

Must be the cold weather, thus it is only jackets.

books are still being run on when the greens will be back. I think the longest odds I've heard are somewhere in the vicinity of 2010

and being a cynic...I wouldn't be surprised if those odds where shortened very soon!

Hi:-)

Are the ambo's experiencing many attacks due to the dark blue uniforms resembling the uniforms of the STAR group officers...?

I got a couple mates who are STAR and they are telling me that in the old days when the SAAS uniforms were dark blue that the ambos would attacked when attending violent incidents and i have seen the mess that is the city and teenage partys... so i guess i'm just asking are the ambos being attack by drunks thinking they are the police?

and if so should the cops be allowed to whollop the drunks for attacking un-armed medics

(sorry just cant understand hitting a medic who's job is to heal, not arrest)

and well what do you know...the new uniforms are still not here..and management's last prediction was another 6 months away.....which would make it 2010.

damn..I should have put more $$$ on that bet....
