As long as there is a parent Guardian with them on the vehicle you dont need to have one and in saying that it is compulsory if a child is on any vehicle in the convoy that a parent/guardian is with them so the bases are covered in relation to that question Andrew.

In SA as in all other state's emergency service's worker's both paid and volunteer under go police checks,I would hope and i think it would be policy that each truck would have two adults and that kids would be wearing seat belts.......

Tell me is there something wrong with people wanting to give a few hours of cheer and joy into those who are dying?? You know if you dont want to get involved then dont but why is it that we attack such a good day out for these kids. you know OHSW has killed off the fun in life and the fun that we as firefighter used to bring into people's life's is slowly being taken away.......

I think we were small but impressive together (well the kids thought so).

Interesting that the convoy route was changed at the last minute to a 22km run. Really good to talk to others before the run.
