I just played my computer recording of today's (Sunday 27/09/2009) Landline television program. Landline is a news program on rural and farming topics. Today's program was based on the AFAC/CRC 2009 conference (see
http://www.afac2009.org.au/)
The program included
* a interview with CEO of Bushfire CRC and
* a article on Arnhem land bushfire prevention (using carbon trading money) and the impact of fire in the Northern territory.
I found today's program interesting. especially the NT article because it displayed how scientists measure a burn-off with their instruments.
The program is repeated on Monday (check local guides for time). The articles are not on the website yet
http://www.abc.net.au/landline/, but hopefully they will be soon for download.
