Was on channel 9 as well.
Treat everyone as if they are an idiot, until they prove you otherwise.

News is a bit behind on this one.  The cull happened months ago. Two are still retained at SAFECOM, none in Regions.  Sorry, but ours was hopeless.
"I'll have to speak to my line manager to see if there's any money...Here's $100 for a VERSP night. I'm a meat on a plate sort of guy, so you'll have to buy the salads and I really need to know exactly how many are coming so I don't get too much meat". Really!

As an officer I certainly didn't notice any change in the workload that they were supposed to help, when my neighboring brigade was at crisis point and it got to the stage of no one turning out they provided a banner and said good luck.

It was a case of 1 being so pointless and overwhelmed that they may as well have had none.

CFS is a joke why would anyone work for the pittance they pay, no wonder everyone leaves and goes to other services where they PAY real money.

Dont be shy...do tell, what are the agendas?

What would you be doing, faced with the same budgetery and legislative constraints?

Bueller....Bueller?
