Priority 3 jobs
« on: July 29, 2012, 08:15:17 PM »
So I was looking at the feed today, and noticed that priority 3 jobs have started showing up. e.g -
29-07-12 19:30:56   RP190 PR: 3 - 20 ALBION ST RIDGEHAVEN 84 N 12 D0676 Disp: 19:30 Overdose / - SAAS Unit Redwood Park
29-07-12 19:02:41   M180 PR: 3 - 6 SCARBOROUGH TCE DOVER GARDENS 152 P 8 D0660 Disp: 19:02 Overdose / - SAAS Unit Marion
29-07-12 18:53:17   G181 PR: 3 - 2 RUDALL ST GAWLER EAST 23 P 11 D0656 Disp: 18:53 Abdominal P - SAAS Unit Gawler

From my understanding (SA Scan);
- P1 and P2 are lights & sirens Failed primary assessment, Failed secondary assessment.
- P4-P9 are no lights and sirens (Transports etc)

SO what is Priority 3 used for? and do they use lights & sirens?

Cheers

yes everything that is old is new again.....one of these days we will go back to Red and Green...lol

Priority 3 has been reintroduced to cut down on the higher accuity non emerg jobs that were either waiting up to an hr (pri 4) or being uncecessarily upgraded to emerg status (Pri 2) because the lower priority time wasnt appropriate. Shouldnt really be a surprise what system would ever survive 1-2, then 4 on...leaving 3 missing...lol

Mr Teddy,
you are beginning to show your age. That terminology has not been used since my father was a country ambo in the early to mid 70s lol. P3 is the old Cat 2B from just about 5 years isn't it?  :-)
