BundyBear:
Anyone know how the CFS and the CFS VA are getting on with this?

CFS_Firey:
You mean the Work Cover for cancer stuff?

tccack:
There is a Facebook campaign and a twitter campaign.
On twitter follow @VFFCGroup and @tccack.
Hashtags are #CFSEquality.

Unsure of FB as I dont use it.

The CFSVA have attempted a few sanctions but unsure of if they have accomplished anything.
There is little being done about the issue overall.

From speaking to various members I have found they have no idea of the issue.
They heard about some sanctions, but gave them little effort if any.

senti@nt:
It'd be interesting to see how that would go with National Parks firefighters also seeing as they to an extent come under the CFS banner. Not to take any shine off exposures by vollies but DEWNR firefighters, especially those who have been arond for many years are easily the most (bushfire) smoke exposed firefighters in the state. 30+ prescribed burns a year exposed to consistently heavy smoke for many hours a day, many days in a row, then add the standard fires that happen during the season account for a huge intake of smoke.

muscleandpluck:
A little birdy told me that any claims will be deducted from the applicable services budget!?!?!?!?
How will the CFS cope with that???
Might change a few opinions, especially now the state election is over!
