So have those who have been interviewed but not made it to the pat2 been notified of where they stand in the overall picture?

Nope

Be nice if they let people know so they can move on with life

You'll just have to get on with things, and wait until you hear otherwise. I've found the process to be frustrating, confusing, and bizarre, yet it was also exciting to be a part of it. I was given the 'wait until further information' email. I'm not holding my breath. If they want to speak with me, then I'll be made aware. Until then, just going about things like normal. When the new year rolls around, I'll study more maths and english - as I'm certain I didn't do as well as I could have done.

I spoke to a few people, and there's no way that feedback will be given, regardless of what you wanted feedback on (I wanted feedback on the aptitude section to confirm my suspicions about my maths). So, yeah, just go about life and prepare for the next one, as there will be another call!

Shall start a 2017 thread in January. Let's endeavour to keep it positive and encouraging, yeah? Air your frustrations, for sure, but steer away from bagging people for their opinions.

All the best to those who are progressing through to the PAT2. Deep breathing, stay focused, and don't drop anything!

Merry Christmas to all of you.  8-) :-)

How reliable is your information beater? You'd like you're chances if you were in the PAT2 testing group and 2 of the 22 being tested had failed on day 1.

Any news how the PAT2 testing has gone the last couple of days? I heard a second  hand rumour there might have been another fail.

Success in PAT 2 today ... then immediately to various places to be fitted for uniforms and so on.

One of the places told me that about 12 or so people had been in already this week.

Now I just have the medical early next week to worry about!

I had my interview 3 weeks ago today. I spoke to my work references last week and they had not been contacted, when I found that out I just figured I was unsuccessful. It would be nice to know either way.

I imagine they are in the process of creating the first squad of 18 by collating medical results and referee checks rather than worrying about those they actually can't give any genuine information to. If you've been interviewed and not received notification your out of the process your in the best position, excusing those who are already ahead in the selection process.

Does anyone know if any of the people interviewed have been told they are unsuccessful yet?

I would suggest it's piss poor and typical of the entire process that the people interviewed have no idea where they stand in the entire scheme of things. It's not hard to let people know where they are at.
