Beater - How many reservists do you know are in the MFS? Do you know if they are given time to deploy or not?

I can answer. There is plenty. Being govt we have access to Defence leave for courses etc. can't recall how many weeks per year though

I too got the '3 year' letter.
I must say it's really disappointing as I can hand on heart say that I walked out of that test happy that I answered truthfully from my perspective.
The letter you get versus the description on the website is appalling, if they label you 'high risk' etc they should attempt to give an indication why. Am I high risk of catching on fire? what are we high risk of please?
Having passed it all a few years back and be fitted for uniform to then not hear anything from them I am now done with the whole process and will look at other emergency service options.
If you do the numbers on what we all paid this time around they could EMPLOY someone to contact applicants and communicate a little better, it's allot but not unreasonable from a professional organization.
Well that's what I think. :)

Does anyone know how many people in total they have interviewed? I'm still hoping that I get an interview later on in the year but I haven't heard anything.

PAC, I was interviewed in January for the second drill squad but haven't heard anything since walking out of the interview. Not sure how many were interviewed in January.

Same boat as you Velvet. Wondering if anyone has heard anything one way or another following the January interviews or knows of anyone that has?

I did hear they may have done a second lot of pat2 already for second recruit squad. Not 100% sure though.
Next year for me. Not highly suitable enough this time

That sucks if they have but would think they would've by now. Would be great to get a 100% on that tho.
Bugger, maybe next time.

The PAT2 testing for those interviewed in Jan was held on 2nd and 3rd of Feb. There were only a couple of applicants left over after the first squad was selected.

Rusty T - wouldn't mind knowing how many were interviewed in January as I've heard from several sources that the likelihood of a 3rd drill squad is high.

There must have been close to 20 people left over after first squad was selected from initial interviews. Plus they interviewed another lot in January so I'd guess close to 90 have been interviewed for the first two squads.
Have heard there will be a third squad. All just rumours though that can change at anytime.

I wonder if they have finalized the second squad or not. I know of a some people getting rejection letters from the 1st interview. I'm hoping that they still interview people for the second and third squad if there is going to be one. The not knowing is the hardest part.

Have you done pat2? I think second squad have been fitted for uniforms. That's the rumour anyway

Thanks for that Velvet. Unfortunately I did expect they would have already done the second round of PAT 2 testing. Given it was a month ago it would've been nice to be notified that I wouldn't be progressing to the next stage.
That would be great to have a third drill squad, just hope we're not out of it having already interviewed.

Well that's pretty piss poor.
I see Left Foot Snap has gone missing. Probably told to pull his head in or dealing with the back lash from charging people $100 to do a test, giving no feedback on results and then trying to ban people for 3 years because they are accusing them of lying on the testing.

Have heard they have very recently interviewed another 40 or so people, making it 3 rounds of interviews.

Correct Beater. I know someone who interviewed last Wednesday. I'm still waiting for my rejection email given I interviewed in January, I haven't heard anything since and now they've interviewed more applicants.

HR and the whole recruiting process needs to be looked at. Very unprofessional and show little regard for the time and effort guys put in. 3 months after an interview and no corespondence. Piss poor

Hi everyone,

Week before last they interviewed a third lot from this recruitment campaign. Anyone heard anything regarding invitation to PAT2 since those interviews? Left foot snap- you seem to hear a bit of wats happening -  any ideas? Ive heard they are running things a bit differently this campaign so maybe they haven't told people anything yet.

Cheers all.
