I'd settle for a page that is in English with half decent spelling so that I can work out where the truck is going or at least have a vague idea of the general direction it needs to head in

the other day the local CFS got a job. pulled out of the shed and headed into town as normal for backing up MFS which is all they have done in the last few weeks however the job was in there area 3ks out of town and the next brigade which is 15ks away got there first and put a stop on the crew here was kinda funny as they had to turn around and was stop right out side the station

??? issues with the change over? After all of this time?
I don't understand the last bit at all shouldn't matter who is running dispatch - a phone or radio call to Adelaide Fire to accept the task should clear up any misunderstandings about location, task etc. Maybe as you said just having a bad day.
cheers

sometimes gota sit back and think that dispatch are ppl too...
they mighta had a bad day, or was thinkin of something else when they typed it
everyone makes mistakes, so we all learn and move on.
or it coulda been misread or taken for granted what it was
and do we all sit and read word for word our pagers when they go off?
i know i dont usually. it is good to have a bit of anidea, but yeah you do fall into the trap of familiarity

oh well, it was funny cos noone was injured (as far as i could tell)
