Compare that to the subsequent pages (13:49 & 13:51). Wonder if the ETA still stands for the default brigades, or weather they got paged after the landing?
Due to a direct link in SOCC the page should only take 4-5 seconds to go from the SOCC PCs to the brigades pagers, after being typed and info relayed from other services...
probably. I wonder if that was in relation to that big rcr near the border last night?

Wonder if the ETA still stands for the default brigades, or weather they got paged after the landing?I am making a guess here, but the faster way to send a subsequent page is to use the computer 'copy & paste' function within the AirSource computer. Thus the ETA would be based on where the phone call was received from whoever (I assume SAPOL).By the time the operator types the message, the AirSource computer dials out and the paging network sends the first pager message, the plane would have been lining up the runway anyway. But if I received that information on a pager message, boy would I move as quickly as possible to respond.

yes... your information is out of date.
