Personally I think it will look good on orange overalls. Unsure until I see it on khaki shirt.
Brown trousers changed to khaki.
Brown jumper changed to air force blue.
Blue casual long sleeve shirts have been mentioned.
Rank epaulets changing to gold on blue.

Badge now does not have crown above piping shrike. State name is clearer. Checker plate links us to national organisation, as well as the orange colour. Rescue states the aim of the service.

anyway we do,its greeen with star and "SA Country Fire Service" written on it

i thought the whole uniform was going blue? same look as mfs without white officer shirts...

No, khaki shirt with khaki pants will be the new field uniform.

Similar to CFS, except that we will have dark blue patch & dark blue with gold rank epaulets, where CFS have dark green.

Paid officers moved from brown trousers to khaki quite a while ago, but using the older brown badges. The 'official' release of the new uniform policy was delayed so some volunteers are still in brown trousers.

New patches and rank badges are being manufactured now, but have not been delivered.
