Doin the suppress wildfire course next month and was wondering what is in it and what practical stuff you do?

Why would they suspend training anyway ?  Surely they can still train people and rectify things after if changes are deemed neccesarry..  After all, we cant not train people for the many years that the court case takes..

It came up at our last group meeting that it was on hold till after the court case and it has also come up at two other group meetings in the region at which paid staff from the region where at.......

Well,this course is now going ahead camo,I must have upset someone as I was informed that the region(5) will be starting it soon and that any upskills from the court case will follow onto us later.... :evil:

Yep, havent done old level2 but I found the course fairly boring.  Loads of theory and not much practical.  The practical simulated forest fire was alright.

Mmmm, most of the practical from the old lvl 2 (eg: Pumps/pumping) was thrown into BFF1
