My wife and I have been taking photos and have set it all up just need our officers to make up their mind if they want a website if they say yes this week I shall be talking to camo to help me with it....I have had a look at a number odf sites and people like to see photos of brigade life.jobs/training and any pr work we do.also list all equipment that you have on your appliance(s)

Alan (Big Al):
Anyone else had a look at the Broughton fire service webpage, the link is on the home page of the promotions unit. Thats not a bad page, they cary a serious amount of equipment on their appliances. And have got some serious support tenders available to them.

We (Port Elliot) have a web page. We try to use it to give current info about activities, incidents.

Probably time to look at upgrading the web layout. Love looking at other CFS web pages...Some have good ideas for layouts etc

The idea was posted a while ago now but I can't find websites as a forum topic?

Everyone should of course check out Belair CFS's website, designed by yours truly LOL  :-P (be nice with feedback...!), unfortunately it hasn't been updated since I left the brigade.

The thing about websites and design in general is preferences are personal and if you like flashing things and music playing and gaudy yellow and blue banners scrolling across the screen then...um, well...each to their own I guess  As long as it is user friendly.

I noticed that the recent television adverts for 'Bush Fire Action Planning & CFS' were advertising a new website address of http://www.cfs.sa.gov.au
