Well everyone the new week is upon us and i can say without a doubt im really nervous cause theres a really high chance i might be an employee with StateWide Forest Services by the end of this week or early next week if the interview goes really well on Wednesday

Even though its a Tasmanian based company they do have a forestry depot in Mount Gambier and thats where i will be based it means i'll be able to ride around on their forestry fire trucks  :-D

Yes fire03rescue as i said before even though its a Tasmanian based blue gum forestry company they have a depot in Mount Gambier cause of their plantation or plantations being located somewhere in the South East area

Hey everyone my interview went real well today and the interviewers were quite impressed with my portfolio of certificates this included my level 1 & 2 training certificates

I have a good feeling that my positive and keen attitude left the employer with a good impression of me..... its abit weird i was supposed to have my appointment at 13:30 but instead they interviewed me @ 13:00

For all of those who ask what i wore to the interview yes i did wear clean jeans & a shirt as well as a shirt and no hat

All thats left to do now is wait for a couple of days :-D

If you are looking for a some work where you can use your firefighting, you could contact your local National sparks office, they are always looking for guys to be employed through westaff, you get called in for burnoffs, big fires, taskforces etc, it could be a good stepping stone for a seasonal job next fire season.
