It has just been reported (On Seven News Break) that Steve Irwin (the Crocodile Hunter) has been Killed in QLD by a stingray, while filming for his latest documentary.

He has plenty of close calls with crocodiles and venomous snakes so it was just a matter of time before it happened :cry:

Talk about adding insult to injury Australia needs to get a lucky charm which keeps tragedy and bad luck away  :-(

well he was doing something that he was so passionate about and yet again a real down to earth man as gone.... It just goes to show you that at any time something can take your life...He may be gone but he will never be forgotten.

this was the first celebrity death that has actually shocked me and made me really sad. I guess it shocked me because Steve looked like one of those guys who was always living life in the face of danger, and watching his shows you'd think "oh, why isn't this guy dead?" So when it finally happened, it hits hard.

Did anyone hear that fricking moron Germaine Greer last night? "nature finally got its revenge on that man." I feel she should become guest bait at australia zoo in the croc show.


RIP steve. Australia loves you.


p.s. Mick dundee is a botox filled, over tanned Ex-Australian loser living in LA. He was no longer funny from about 1990.
