Im not sure if anyone has heard of the Res-Q-Rench before but apparently according to the item description on fire trader australia website it can be used to cut seatbelts,pop windows,undo stortz or external lug couplings, pry open windows or doors as well as other stuff

Having got one for christmas last year i can say its a very handy piece of equipment to have  :wink:

Hey Rob, thats all well and good that it can cut seatbelts, pop windows, undo stortz or external lug couplings, pry open windows or doors, look you could problay use the barstard as a paper weight up to 9 on the beaufort scale. But the question on everybodys lips is............can you use it, as a bottle opener! 8-)

Thats a good question Jaff if you look closely at the pic it has a special curve which can be used to shut off gas lines so without a doubt that same curve could be used to open bottles up

If you go to www.tft.com and look around the site they will have an extensive description of this piece of equipment available

Gas lines! interesttting....  There's a similar tool being put onto the Varley 34's, but i think its designed only as a Universal coupling key.
