Has anyone heard about the new operational paid staff jobs in HQ? I heard from a member from another group that they are recruiting from brigades? I havnt seen anything advertised. Im guessing its for Air Operations and the State Air Desk or more community ed?

community ed job in my region been appointed so i was told 2 weeks ago :-)

They are for the State Air Desk and only Contract until the end of April.

It was sent to Regional Offices for distribution to who they think may be appropriate for the position.

Correct the job was for the State Air Desk and was only paying something like 40K!
So you'd probably earn more money working at Coles or McDonalds! :evil:

40k a year, or 40k for the 3 months you'd be working?

The base is 45ish and every shift attracts generous penalties plus the all the overtime. One of the guys in a neighbouring brigade is an officer in town, not a bad place to start. It seems to be relatively competitive for the few positions there are...(unless you know current staff in there :evil:)
