noticed this morning...

FOR INFO. XXXXXX is burning off stubble heaps this afternoon at Sect 49 HD of Allen (Alawoona)under permit FESA 37339. XXXX Captain.

Fire Ban in most places....lively wind change forecast....thoughts?

Technically the Riverland is not a TFB and the fdi for Loxton is only at 10.

I hate burning off, not having resources at your disposal has it's risks.

so as the Brigade Captain (in this instance), what process do you follow. What are the guidelines you use for when is ok and when isnt ok?  What CFS resources or guidance is provided? Do you have to seek Group or Region approval? Can they revoke the permit you have issued (if they know about it)

Questions in general, not necessarily in this instance
