Title: Kilburn fire
Post by: Hazmat206 on December 28, 2008, 08:30:27 PM
FOURTEEN new cars were destroyed in an $800,000 shed fire at Kilburn today.

Damage was caused to the cars and the Churchill Rd shed on the Advanced Plastic Recycling premises at Kilburn.
Another 78 cars which were inside the shed when the blaze began just after 4pm were saved.

Fire cause investigators have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire but believe it may have been an electrical fault.

The blaze took 46 firefighters about two hours to extinguish.

Elizabeth got a call to a rubbish fire...but it turned out to be just smoke from the nearby shed fire.... they weren't there very long...

Yes, it sure is. Might not be used as a relief pump much longer as the new bronto isn't far from coming online, making the current 2015 TRUCK the new relief/training aerial appliance

hmm....reckon the new Bronto is still sitting at engineering while they argue over who is gonna pay for the cost of getting the fixes done.

Don't give away Abbs just yet

You have to join Ozfire last time I visited. Don't want to do that.
Trying to spend a lot less time on the the Internet.
