So tell me does blackwood do so many rescues because people forget to open their eyes while driving up there??? Some freaky stuff happens on some pretty decent roads up there. :|
-
mmm... not quite sure where ya'r going there mundcfs...
Blackwood cover a fair area, and admittedly most has some pretty decent roads, but almost all of it is up and down hill, m,ost roads are extremely windy and a fair few are quite tight...
blackwood get quite a few rescues every year.. they do seem to have had a run of a few lately...
-
Ah Red helmet in the thick of the action - it must be Sturt Group :-o
Only Group I know of where Group Officers respond to Fixed Alarms.
-
Crankster 34 Only Group I know of where Group Officers respond to Fixed Alarms.
I don't thinks that happens anymore
-
Not having a dig at Blackwood just the idiots on the roads that manage to run off on straight roads etc...etc...
-
Off topic but I wonder which brigade did most RCR for the year !!
-
well combine each RCR brigades RCR stats and you will get it. personally i think stirling would have the most, then maybe naracoorte, then blackwood.
-
Barker would be up there with the Rescue Tally...
Nice pics macca.
-
Most MVA's attended was Stirling followed by Barker, Salisbury, and Dalkeith
-
are we talking actual cut outs though?
-
Nah couldn't be bothered looking in to it that much. As for cuts those four with Aldinga would still be up there.
-
i have a funny feeling that if we are talking about actual cut outs it would be between salisbury, barker and stirling...
i dont think country brigades would really come into the picture, although they woudl do there fair share...
-
For anyone who cares, according to promo site the MVA rescues are as follows.
Barker 39
Stirling 33
Salisbury 32
Dalkeith 25
How accurate this is i don't know as the prom site had our brigade down for a couple more rescue's than we actually did.
As for those numbers they can keep it, it would give me the sh**s doing that many rescues.
-
rescues seem to be pretty well all my brigade attend...
-
Macca - who gives a toss about the vests - the road appeared blocked - so whos driving through!!!!!
Mmm good to see a red helmet in the thick of it - interesting when none of the red helmets have participated in the RCR comps now for some time yet they feel the need to get in there - once a fire fighter always a fire fighter - hard to let go!
As for responding to fixed alarms - not officially, but they still ghost!
-
re the vests - just chucked that on there due to the comments in the last thread LMAO - the road was closed btw... crime scene apparently :?
yeah, had him right in there in the thick of it, cant hurt to have the experience on hand, plus i think they were a little on the light side with RCR operators....
