SAAS / Re: re Conflict of Interest
« on: April 10, 2013, 12:42:49 PM »
Constantly aiming your discussions at individual companies which you are CLEARLY doing, will see your IP's banned from this Forum and community. You will not be warned again..

This is a discussion forum, however a review of posts from a number of accounts (including those in this thread) CONSTANTLY seem to veer in a single direction, and constantly seem to aim their issues in the same way, at the same companies. I suggest you familiarise yourself with the Code of Conduct and Use Policy you agreed to when joining here.

If you have a "personal" gripe or issue with a company, I suggest you find another method of slinging cr@p, as it will not be tollerated here.

Been a while since I have perused these forums, however some posts are indicative of someone with an agenda.. The mind boggles Numpty..

SAAS / Re: SAAS CEO and HEalth restrict SAAS Ambo's out of hours work!

360, You have popped up lately and very quickly jumped on the Ambulance / Private industry band-wagon, with quite a directed conversation and subject content on a number of different threads.. All of which lead to one outcome.. You seem to like to target one particular area, in all of your threads.

Your motives are being seriously questioned, let me make this very clear. Along with your apparent deliberate intent to consistently poke the preverbial at various organisations / companies..

Be very careful, your are nearing the borders of slander and defamation. - That is all I will say on the matter.

Indeed Alex, it always amused to hear the DGO's / DO's going to Alarms and such and arriving before the appliance..

Guess some just 'live and breathe' it all a little too much..?

I also heard of this. A certain paid CFS staff member telling the CFS crews at 20 to only wear PBI if its an alarm/structure call..

What were they to do to an MVA, wear there jocks!?

Incident Operations / Re: Kilburn plastics fire

It was a good night, thought the comms operator on 150 was very professional, particularly when dealing with some CFS brigades not so used to talking to adelaide fire for more than 2 words. . .

Got back to station a little after midnight, what time did the guys get back who went to the job from 20?

Incident Operations / Re: another busy MFS day
« on: September 13, 2009, 08:27:47 PM »
In 2 hours I have just heard Brooklyn dispatch Companies to:

*28 Box Alarms
*3 Second Alarms
*1 Third Alarm
*12 Vehicle accidents

God knows how many gas and good intent calls, and the assignments to assist the upper east side.

I just shuddered at the thought of SAMFS handling that in 2 hours!!!!

I was at the show on the first Saturday, saw what might have been lucky to be an 11 year old, walking around on her own, with a Radio and one of the Athsma bags, wearing the blue Cadet eppiluetes..

Its about time the Show management put on HealthCare Professionals at these events. Whether SAAS actually put a number of Paramedics there, or private companies get to tender with properly qualified personell.

While we are at it, can't we go anywhere these days without the risk of getting stabbed!   Jesus!

Incidents / Re: Myer Fire
« on: September 13, 2009, 08:12:29 PM »
Maybe it shouldn't have been up to the S.O to make that kind of a decision, at such a large incident?.. Might need to be looking into their hirachy and checkout what plans are in place for large scale incidents..

- The response would need to be right for the CFS to even get to a job where boosters are required.. - "Respond Assist Resident, boosting operation required" ... Hehe..

Haha.. Ah the Van..

Crashndash: - What are we meant to do, give all these remote rural brigades who happen to have an airstrip which hasn't been used for 40 years, a Crash / Foam Tender??

Or keep the truck full of water and bring a foam trailer?

I think dalkeith showed how much of a failure the remote controlled front mounted monitor was..

Also, if we started giving 'aviation spec' trucks to brigades with airstrips, I think you would find the cost astronomical. - There are alot more airstrips out there than people realise..
