Quick question, my work is currently redoing their policies and as I am a volley, they want to know if the government have any recommendations regarding this. We are a business centre that offers free advice, help to other companies, and so want to be able to set a good example. Does any one know who would be a good person to contact or if any one has any suggestions?

Just a quick suggestion, I did my BA in naracort ( please excuse spelling). They acctivated a spare DSU and chucked it in. As ETO i sent crews in. this was good learning, but found i knew were my crews were so sent the other crews after them only to find there wasnt actually a person, so if you do activate a DSU if you place it on a dummy take a member out so it gives the ETO a chance to check how they are going. a search and rescue wasnt that effective when the BA were looking for a FF when it was only a small DSU.
Still was a great weekend though.

As i understand it, Seaford still have not been told where they will fit in when MFS move in. Just a tad annoying, an email was sent about the options two of them included shutting Seaford down Nice HUH!!! Also out of curiosity the dennis didnt cope in mt barker, how will the mfs appliances go? At a recent hazmat incident with the MFS. (NB:We Did work well with them) there one gadget didnt help, and they didnt exactly follow any hazmat protocols, both MFS and CFS should have tapped it up and waited for a hazmat brigade but both services sent ba operators in with the mfs officer walking in the part we had taped of with no protection. so you cant garentee they can handle hazmat better than cfs. and threats have been made of Replacing seaford

Its all nice and sparkly now with seaford pumper stuck to it.
at the moment our logistics car is at seaford so we have 24, 24p and pumper, we have three months to decide if we want to use it then if we decide to keep it the rescue gear goes on pumper and we go back to one pumper and rural.

i dont think it will take 2 weeks to learn to use, as we have been mucking around with it today and yesterday, we get new gear for it monday or tuesday to get it ready to use, but we also have a brigade meeting tomorrow so its better to over estimate than under, all though going to the stc sounds good.

hey, our brigade has been turned out for a couple of calls out side their area, i only know about the one cause i went. it was about 2.30 in the morn and we got paged for a fire at hackham how ever it turned out on the expressway at renella but were advised to go up a bike track near ohalleren hill. when the officer iquired if morphett or a closer brigade had been responded, im not sure of the response but he got the distinct impression the person on the other end took an immediate dislike to him. we eventually got there and found chrities mfs had put it out, but every one had the feeling ohaleron would have been closer. when back at the station we looked at it, we are dual response whith morphett any way and  defaulted just befor we got the truck out, but no other brigade was called out. so dont just put the blame on the brigades, the captain came down bout 4 to fill out the 2nd inccident form of being called out as initial response to some were not in our area. also at that time in the morn if we had phoned the another brigade to say we were going in there area no one would have been there. we did the next best thing and told SHQ we were not the closest brigade and asked if morphett had been responded

R 1 i think, still a bit muddled about what groups are in what regions, seaford and strathalbyn,

how did your wife try and burn the station down,
xmas got an award for most likly to park an applience in the male dunnies rather than engine bay.
but its only a little dent on the basin

13
ill look into it, nut i was advised but a tax dude that it can be done, might be a secret clause or something, lol
get back to yas l8ter

14
im pretty sure if you know what your doing you can get some rego, mileage, fuel back in tax if you keep track af all call outs attended, traing meetings ect, you would also need to keep reciepts.

pretty sure its that way its also the same for sub contractors

hope that comes out if not google mfs personality testing. its a news paper article.

also heard from a cfs captain that this last intak out of 14 12 were rellies of mfs firies with the other two just being not, i supose. is this the norm, like the father son rule in afl. silly question but its got me wondering. could any one enlighten me please?
