Title: Alarms
Post by: Hazmat206 on December 01, 2008, 11:29:38 AM
Has any one else noticed the increased number of false alarms lately?
As much as this is good revenue!, it's a nuisance.
But i do understand we still have to respond and always will but it's a worry seeing the number of false alarms going off lately.

Common trend with increasing population and activity..

Notice the roads are busier, earlier in the morning these days too..?  Everything is effected, one way or another..

You're worrying about false alarms? Atleast it shows that the Fire Detection system works... or needs repair.

But as long as there are people who don't know how to cook, there will always be Fixed Alarms going off!

i would say need repair/service but unless the client/occupents want to PAY for the service work then they will be nothing done about it!!

How many of the alarms you attend are activated due to simulated fire condition? If that triggers the alarm, there is nothing wrong with that...

Agreed, too many people label everything as a false alarm and blame the system...
