Im fairly sure there were a few people around the place after photos of CAFS actually being used... anyway, a few shots from a car fire this morning. Caused by a mechanical fault with the cars thermo-fan... (note to self; never buy a Citreon Xsara)

if the call is recieved by CFS SOCC on an SES line then an SES unit is dispatched regardless of distance (to a point) unless SOCC feels there is an immediate life/property threat or some other outstanding circumstance...

distance isnt a factor if the area is listed as acertain unit/brigades area...

smoke coming from the chimney.... isnt that generally the idea???

not the best call from MFS Comms... was smoke coming from the chimney for sure... becasue someone had lit a fire in the fireplace... LOL

sounds just like a vehicle recovery to me, im sure SOCC know what they are doing and responded appropriate resources for the call.

yeah... late december coro sent an appliance to change quarters to happy valley... funnily enough though, we got a fixed alarm, then the change of quarters, then a tree fire (Whilst responding to COQ) then another fixed alarm whilst at COQ... luckily we were fully crewed for both trucks at the time... lol

would have loved to go on one of the regional strike teams to KI or the jobs at lameroo or robertstown..
