The next issue is that we would have to get the lightweight cylinders as used at STC for compartment so as you weren't jumping out the truck with so much weight on your back.

you dont jump out of the truck.

CFA call their trucks tankers so do you mean a 34P type truck?

Edit: I meant CFA, not CFS.

I agree with you there, a lot of women are more sensible on the fireground, and they tend to think things through quite well, in comparison to those sexest ***** who go all tunnel vision at an incident. Our brigade only has one fully operational female firefighter, i would like to see more of them in the CFS, but if things happen as explained before, well i can see why they are not.

I agree with Manuel above, report it , and hopefully you can get those people out of the CFS :x,

Hello there, I have been reading this forum for a while now, and thought it would be good to start posting in it.

Just a bit about me, I am a pomm from England, moved over here while I was young. I have been in the CFS for over two years now, and I am really enjoying it. I am meeting great people and personalities :-D So now it is time to meet some more electronically , I am not that experienced with the CFS, so I think i should learn a bit more about things here, as I am in a reasonably quiet station.

I think that it is way better than the old yellow stuff, there is more good points than bad ones, plus it keeps you nice and warm in winter. :-D

« on: August 08, 2006, 08:57:20 PM »
i agree with what someone else said. Use the star with the red and yellow checkers.  Then we have a good mix of tradition and future

I think that would be quite ugly, but what i want to know is could we have a new competition on a new logo, which included the star logo as a option, and let the volunteers vote? I wonder what would happen then?
