So you believe everything a CFS captain says do you? Does he/she personally know those 12 people do they?
Another stupid comment on this silly thread.

There are only brackets for 2 sets. The only newer appliances you will find with 4 sets are some 24P`s and Urban pumpers. Maybe 34P`s if the brigade is replacing an appliance that had 4 sets on it.

Country Fire Service / voting rights
« on: March 02, 2007, 06:00:15 PM »
What sort of rules do various brigades have in relation to voting rights at brigade elections? One that I was a member of allowed auxillary members to vote for brigade office bearers and senior firefighters etc. Even though some of these auxillary members didnt know some of the firies very well if at all. There was no minimum attendance requirement for training nights or meetings to maintain these voting privilages. One thing that I didnt agree with.

There are people who are members of CFS and MFS all over the state and if they decide to do so good on them. The issue of getting called by both services at once probably doesnt happen that often. Even if it does, does it really matter which service you respond with??? At the end of the day you are serving the community whether your PBI has yellow or orange stripes. BTW lets not make things too personal.

« on: February 26, 2007, 04:38:46 PM »
Another drama with hydrants is the lack of pressure you get from them in certain places. Makes it a bit hard to get a decent supply of water when you get a decent job. Thats after you have dug up someones front lawn to find the plate..lol.

I would say that the steps for the cab, front and back were built by moores. The standard steps that come with dual cab trucks arent usually the best. They arent very wide and the first step is usually a bit high.
