There appears to be difficulty in obtaining CFS dress uniforms as the approved khaki previously is apparently not approved anymore.Anyone else having that same problem?

Each brigade has a VFBA delegate so if all of them go to the next VFBA meeting someone should make a motion to get a CFS Calendar happening instead of the boring wall planners we have now

 easy tiger!

Wearing cherons on your polo also shows commitment to the community and they can see you have done something special and are a well dedicated member with chevrons on the shirt.  You have been drinking too much red cordial buddy

Sorry Lion Heart to offend - but do you really think that Mr Average down the street knows or even gives a toss what we have sewn or applicated onto our polo shirts! IF our community was interested, I believe we would see this in their support, not in their acknowledgment of what we wear!

If the community was that appreciative we would have more daytime crews, but it takes some of us dedicated volunteers who put our hands up for the community :?

Correct ozfire...its the 1989 version. While across the border it still teaches drivers common sense and the standard issues of turnouts, priority based on information recieved, dressing before getting on the appliance, etc :-)

In answer to your question yes....every appliance should have one!

Imagine if you are on the fireground and there is a wind change and your only escape is a track which is blocked by a tree

What would you do :-D

Yep....and there are still brigades out there who still have Proban overalls one and two piece style, but also brigades who dont even have a BA set on the appliance. How can we serve our communities if we cant even get the gear to do the job :?
