They did talk about adding it to the CFB course, but anyone that had completed the CFB course would come back for the day.
They also talked about it being a new course.

I guess we will find out later.
I think it will be a great course

Last Night on SBS Global Village The story was about using Convicts to do the Fire Fighting.
Most of the stuff the convicts did was like the mopping up  and making large brakes. The cons got paid $1.75 per hour.
It would be good if the gov tried this, I would have no problem with them mopping up.
Putting something back to the community

Hicksflat great comments and you have cleared a lot of crap up, I am not sure who  can and can't sell PBI gold.
But I think you will find that the business you are talking about might ( not 100%) would  had an intrest in the gloves and hoods, like other business.

So I am not sure why the conflict of intrest keeps coming up.
I think you will find the the GROUP votes on issues not one person.

I have worked with these people before and I have confidence it what they do and do for their group.

At the end of the day if issues are some much of a concern talk to your captain or speak to the group officers for some answers and you might get the same kind of respons the one on this forum.
It might have stopped all this??

The only problem with email messages from your computer is  it can take sometime

Airsource is good but I think you can only use it if you are the Administrator of the PC, not Power Users

Come on Medevac, you like to talk the talk
Bring it up with your brigade reps, get the ball rolling.
Everyone has a voice at meetings. I can't work out why you have not got the gear yet.
Or do your officers ignore you

But you guys had a good cricket game and was a bit of fun.
Poor planing on the night, I hate it when you have been at work all day then go out at night to do nothing. For the safety of crews you should be released about midnight being up for 24 hours is dangerous

in about 6 - 8 weeks
I was at the Mt Bold fire and a farm said don't drive over there you will get bogged.
I asked why he said
That a natural spring is near and when this part of his land gets water logged it is the change of seasons in about 6 weeks and he had been on the farm for a long time.
I guess only time will tell
also on the radio the other day, the ostriches are starting to lay their eggs and they only do this if the season is going to be good, just another story

Saw some great work from lots of brigades to save houses under some very hard conditions, the only problem was a few appliance's driving on the road in thick smoke and not having a siren on to warn other firefighters working on the road.
