SAMFS / Re: recruitment 2022

I was in the same boat, placed in keep fit pool but didn’t progress any further.

It was good on this forum comparing the different emails people were getting and having an insight as to how things were progressing

Good luck, hopefully we will hear something soon

I found this forum really helpful in 2018 so thought I’d start 2022 recruitment thread to discuss anything related to the selection process. Good luck every one.

I can’t say I loved doing the cognitive test at home on laptop for the first time, but it is what it is and that’s the way it’s going to be moving forward

Yep its interesting

I had a mate that didn’t get through it jokingly say to me we’ll have to do the test together next time! Maybe he wasn’t joking!

Oh well, just keep plugging away and try again next time, although the email did say unlikely to progress so they haven’t burnt our bridges fully! You never know!

I am way back in the passed the personality test and stay fit pool and received this email today

This is to advise you that your application remains active and will continue to do so for the application lifecycle period of 2 years effective from August 2018. During this time and subject to MFS requirements, you may be invited forward to contest the PAT1. It is important to note that you are not eligible to re-apply in Recruitment and Selection Campaigns that may occur within your 2-year application lifecycle period.

At least it’s positive but by the sounds of it, I’m still a long way back in line, but in the words of Jim Carey in Dumb and dumber “so you’re telling me there’s a chance!”

With respect, after reading your post I think SAMFS got it right.
From your post you demonstrated that you can't accept decisions, you push your point, you argue your point and state that you will continue to do so with HR because you don't agree and you think their system is flawed, you have bagged a potential employer, you think you are better than everyone else (2,500 applicants) and you come across as complete whinger who is owed answers! I couldn't imagine spending 4 days working closely with a person with these qualities, I would fear for my safety on a big job as you would be likely to question someone else's decision.
If I was you I wouldn't headline and put your name to a campaign that presents information to HR and SAFECOM to improve their process. That would be dumb!
