Why not keep using it as a pumper?  It's only 30 years old....

Exactly, still another good 20 years to go! ;)

Nice how you put in 3 of the Mawson Group Stations in there and forget about Mt. Barker who also have a tendancy for trying to get better trucks Aka Dennis (LOL), I hear Seaford are having fun with that at the moment and just as a question I have been hearing that atleast one Type 2 Pumper got sent back to SEM with Major Problems with it's Computerised Pumping System can anyone give us more info on who and what exactly is happening with that.

Thats Happy Valleys type 2 appliance, the auto control side of the pump apparently shat itself and it got sent back to Victoria to be fixed. As for the Dennis, no major problems (yet) just lots of annoying things go wrong each week....

I stumbled across some un-edited film crew footage of the fire, Some great shots. Once I can be bothered I will host some up on youtube.

Jono, if that is the DVD that I gave to your brigade last night then I would rather you didn't put it on You Tube.

Posting it on You Tube implies you have the copyright to that material which you don't, in this case the vision was given to the brigade for training and debriefing use.

Ahhh, thats where it came from! No probs matt.

Range Hope Forest and Seaford were conducting asset protection on a house when they were burnt over. RHF put out a mayday message that resulted in a heli-attack dropping a load of water on Seaford 24. The house was lost. Three crew from Seaford were taken to hospital with smoke inhalation, general burns and burns to the airway. I believe one person was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide from RHF.

I know 2 of our members are fine. Hope all others are well too.

Whats the pun behind seafood, apart from actually sounding the same?? Is there any intelligent meaning to it or is it just the best you could come up with......

Whoops, forget to add door wedges.

Also, for those who carry FIP keys, what do you carry? Have you found the 'standard' key actually works?

two 003 keys, ones a bit longer and a 004

New helmet bracket now, modified it so it doesn't hit your head and sits out alot further. Also FireHelmetCam.com have a new clip available.
