Title: Alarm Responses

Just wondering whether anyone has a alarm reference or something. In other words if you upgrade to a 2nd alarm how many trucks would you get?

Alarm levels,

Structure Fire (same response as ALarm Call)

1A = 2 app min 1x BA
2A = 2 further app min 1x BA
3A = 4 further app min 2x BA
4A = strike team + RDO

ive been to a through the roof domestic with only three appliances, therefor it was only a first alarm :wink:

Post by: fire03rescue on November 24, 2006, 03:01:40 PM: I have been to a few jobs with the fire through the roof and 3 appliances was fine, just protected exposures and water on the fire. I have no problem with 3 appliances for jobs like that.
3 CFS appliances could be up to 20 firefighters. How many do you need for an average size house.
Why call extra brigades out??
