There's still more to be announced.  This is just the start.

A few packages will be taken in middle management and some portfolios redistributed yet......

No it's not a joke.  More like appropriate rationalization of positions.

The role of ASMO and medical director is pretty much redundant in this day and age with the clinical governance model that's now in place.  A good thing too.

Besides.....Bill still employed by SAAS - but wears red instead of green, and only gets one pay-cheque instead of two.

Good one ambogirl....or is that Medboy who's had the chop overnight?

Anyone who works for SAAS couldn't give a toss what they're like...so long as they stay away from sick patients....so unless you're a right trainspotter who's managed to get thru the system....I'm finding it both amusing and annoying at your poor attempt to be one of the regular crowd-despite your  persistent efforts!

the frontline clinician can based on a clinical assesment.

The monkey calltakers cannot.

as per the usual though - it's all about how you sell it.  Telling a patient "you're wasting my F%*#@%ing time - now bug ger off" will probably not work.

Remember...only nice doctors get sued!

sounds like a supplier of goods touting for business, which I thought was against the rules of the forum.

Better get your cheque in the post before they pull the plug on you troll boy.

It's funny.....you and your shameless self promotion and ongoing attempts at baiting me while hiding behind a pseudonym remind me of someone I used to do business with.........

Would this be the same one you've been telling us that "is coming" for the last 12 months?

I thought they were supposed to be kicking off July 1 2010 ?

They might be a big company, but SA is a pretty finicky market!

definitely is the way to go, but don't know how much the AEA would be willing to let it go.

needs to be something that is "managed" over time-  while increasing ESS skills and adjusting workload in order to ensure that no jobs are lost.  if these staff are upskilled and SAAS adjusts it's tasking so that ESS can play a more significant role than just racking up hundreds of thousands of kilometres driving from Port Adelaide to Noarlunga to FMC to the RAH to Glenside to Gawler to LMHS and back to FMC all before first crib, then I think it might just be tangible!

North and south.   It's the only places development can happen.

....and ten bucks says that no agency has really started planning for any of the development that is hittingnthe papers in the past fortnight......

Numbers a Troll?

HAHAHAHAHHAA.......

Ferret - obviously you are a very green public servant who still worships those above him.

Give it time Proby.....you'll get as old and wise (or is that cynical) as Numbers one day!

Boredy....the other problem is that not too many get out of your way when the SAAS crews have the onscene lights running instead of travel when on Cat A or B, no flashing headlights makes it even harder

...and at this point is probably worth mentioning that the large majority of SAAS fleet crashes occur at very low speed, not on an urgent case and usually in reverse!

Oh and the stupid numpty, not on a case- who took off when the light turned green...directly into the back of the car in front which hadn't seen the green.....

...oh and the stupid numpty who put one on it's side in a suburban street......."turning a corner and hit an oil patch"

Anyone detecting a sarcastically disturbing trend here??

Generic perhaps?  These are all spare cars that get used anywhere and everywhere

.....mostly staffed by managers and overtime...another knee-jerk reaction to get response times down after realizing that in the last 12 months SAAS has gone from being the best performing service in the country to near on the worst!!
