I wonder if the others in the fleet are having similar issues?  One at Waikerie and one at bridgewater, not sure if there are any more around the place?

When this happened to our aux pump, we had pressure relief valves put into the system between the pumps so it wouldn't happen again.  Seemed to fix the problem.  Haven't had any issues in that respect again.

Don't worry, you're not alone.  The URP in my old brigade had something wrong with it 90 percent of the time.  Primer and foam pump we had issues with a lot.  The siren packed up. Aux pump blew it's seals at one stage.  Numerous electrical issues.  It's a great idea for a appliance but it just needs all the problems sorted out properly.  We never used ours as as a grassfire unit because the aux pump wasn't powerfull enough.  Was a good pumper though and great for MVA's.  Also took 30min to get up to 100km/h on the highway.  As I said, great idea for an appliance, just too many problems that need sorting out.

Also both this and the skidder have long range lighting (can see up to 1km) and self contained water pump and storage for self protection, as well as drop down fire curtains in cabs

This is the tractor used with the skiddah.  It usually tows a stick rake or a disk plough.  It's aslo the unit we used to tow the a-frame with before we got the log skidder.

This machine is the result of years work led by our group officer down here. The idea is when you get fire in scrub, start at the flank and put a track around the fire edge, much the same as they use dozers for.  dozers are a bit of a logistical nightmare to move at best of times and are also pretty slow.  This thing tows around a heavy steel A-frame which basically knocks down the trees and pushes then to either side, leaving a 6m wide bare earth break.  This can be done at 7 or 8kms per hour.  The tyres are logging tyres so you can puncture them. This thing, along with the tatiara Tractor and wake rake, and the Tatiara 34 appliance has done probably more than 400km of fire edge so far and saved a lot of man hours in doing so.

One idea someone came up with was move foam drum out of back drivers side locker, put foam drum where cones are and move cones up top somewhere

How would the ventilation go if you put a fridge in a locker?

Has anyone out there put or seen a fridge in a dual cab 34?  We want to mount a fridge in ours but as there is limited storage already, it's proving to be had task finding where to ut one.
