Well people its almost that time of the year again and so I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe new year. I would also like to thank those people who i have met this year and for the chance to take photos of your stations and appliances. Enjoy your Christmas with your family and to those that answer the call for help be safe and come home.....

All brigades if you go to an emergneyc call on christmas & new years eve dont forget to take a box of beer but dont let the driver drink it :wink: cause he needs to stay sober  :lol:

Only Christmas Eve when the knobs start lighting fireworks at midnight :x

We had one to help prevent some deer escaping a paddock, after a wind storm came through, knocked over several trees, causing them to bring down fences, and leave an easy escape path for the deer....    :-D

True story.

And the guys from my brigade will remember, cos I turned up to the call in a dress, and trying to get into PPE with a dress is on, is , um, interesting

Now pip in a dress that would have been a classic photo where was ASH with the camera when this took place????

never (not saying this loudly) been on a call on xmas day...been New Year's a couple of times...

can't remember the last time we had a stinker on xmas day..

we tend to get a call every new years eve at around midnight... you can always count on the idiots around our area with illegal fireworks...

havent been out on christmas day before though

how many been to christmas day calls?

2 in the first 5 hours of Chirstmas last year, 1 the year before and the one before that, and 2 the one before that. Except they are all between midnight and 5am never been out in the daylight of christmas :-D

Had a reported house fire a couple of years ago, turned out to be an orange beacon at a factory flashing through the window.

Hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable, quiet (etc etc) season  :-D
