I Heard There Was A Delay Because The Purchase Orders Sat On Someones Desk & Was Not Signed Off.

So Instead Of Lion Getting An Order Of 12-24 Operators After 1-2 Courses There Got About 12 Courses So Approx 144 So Thats A Container Load.  So The Last I Heard Was That The Stuff Has Been Ordered & Is Being Shipped From NZ.

Was Expected To Be Here This Month, But Now That Its Fire Season And Near Xmas So As To Weather It Gets Off The Docks Thats Another Story.  It Will Most Likely Sit There Until Feb.

CyberCitizen, no helmet? The OIC and both BA crew have helmets....?

This Is The Guy I Was Referring To.  He Runs Down The Side Of The House A Few Times Running Lines.  If He Is Getting That Close He Should Have On A Helmet & His Turn Out Coat Done Up.

So what if it broadcasts to people in their homes - its a reminder that we are out, serving our community in their time of need

It Acts As PR.  Then All The Little Kids Can Hear It & Come Out To Watch The Truck & We Can Wave As We Go Past.  Build Up the PR :P But Would Also Be Good For Parents If Their Kids Are Playing Cause Then They Know A Truck Might Be Coming Though And To Keep An Eye On The Kids.

Was it any good - did it ask any interesting or hard questions

Some Of The Questions Were Good.  It Went Into How Much Do You Get Called Out.  How Much Sleep Do You Normally Have, How Much Sleep Do You Get If You Attend A Call Out During The Night, Can You Get Back To Sleep Easily.  Do You Feel Tired At Work & Does It Affect Your Working Perormance.

I Want One For My Car.  CFS Member Responding To Incident Please Give Way. :P  Still No Speeding Involved But It Would Improve Times To Station As The Slower Drivers Would Be Aware Of On Coming Cars.

Rusty - i agree with you, personally i dont see the point of sending out a page asking for more crew as rather stupid, because in theory everyone who is available should already be on there way....

What About This Situation.  I Am Looking After My Brothers So I Am Not Really Available.  But If We Are Short Of Crew I Can Arrange For Someone Else To Look After Them While I Respond.

How Is This Not A Suitable Use?  I Was Not Available Before Hand But Because The Need Was There I Am Able To Make My Self Available.
