I’ve also heard around 60 were interviewed, wonder when you will hear this ‘more info to come’ and what that info actually is

I agree with Mr T, I think they will either interview the remaining who passed the PAT1 and then add you guys into that pool to select the PAT2 for remaining squads
Or if there are enough who have already been deemed suitable from the interview and are waiting on a PAT2, they will draw the second squad from that, but again, who knows

Did they mention at these information sessions if they would be opening applications each year? Or do you think it will be like the last intake where they just keep taking people who have currently received an interview and who are in the ‘keep fit’ pool?

We had 4 groups of 6, but I’m pretty sure the last group had 5 run because someone didn’t rock up

Does anyone know if you can re-apply and try for a better result instead of keeping your results from the last test?
So you can improve your personality?? If everyone was suitable to be a firefighter they wouldn't bother with the testing. If your profile changed too much from a previous test it will alert the MFS and you won't progress.
There must be hundreds with the keep fit letters
Im actually talking about the abilities testing - e.g maths, reading comprehension, spelling etc..
I’m fairly certain the aptitude side of things is a pass/fail, so would assume if you got a keep fit letter you received a pass and it’s come down to the personality profiling

Honestly I couldn’t remember how I answered all those years ago but was confused because I thought I did really well and answered honestly, I feel this time round I answered similarly, so can’t really pinpoint what’s changed

I thought I did well in the 2016 testing, but received the email saying they believed I tried to manipulate the test and couldn’t apply again for a few years. I was pretty devastated with that too
But I’ve been susscessful this time round, so it is possible

Is anyone able to clarify what was mentioned in earlier posts about who goes through to the interview stage. So if you pass the PAT1 l, Do they take X amount of people based on the written tests through to interview, or does everyone who passes PAT1 go through to an interview? Cheers
