Do MFS do burn Over Training :?

Because they had will go into the Hills and other area if needed on a bad day, not on dirt tracks.

« on: October 22, 2006, 09:46:09 AM »
I like the Type 2 Pumpers, but what the cfs needs to do is make a better 34p or 24p that can boost properly. It would be good to have a type 2 pumper that was 4wd drive then the appliance could go off road when needed.

I agree with you OZ Fire
we had a ff in the brigade that put in 100% for 13 years and had to leave because of work commitments and the other ff had completed 15 years but went missing for a lot of the time and did bugger all.
so why should the second ff get the National medal

Country Fire Service / What does the VFBA do ? Debate
« on: September 20, 2006, 08:34:25 AM »
They are good at organising raffles, competitions, having meetings and saying good luck for the fire season (don’t forget free trips OS)
I hate some of the stuff that comes from the UFU, but they look after the members.
Were does the VFBA stand on appliance issues ( eg some brigades lose a pumper for a 24) Lion PPE, crew levels, equipment on appliances, training etc etc

Just some thoughts to get a thread going

Well i was at my parents house last night around the time of this call so to prevent the pager from being pinched if someone broke in i placed it in my safe which somehow blocked the message from getting to the pager

LMAO - in the safe

Robert if you had a FIRE SAFE the pager would have gone off. The FIRE SAFES are made for CFS pagers

well done Mat
Must be hard for the ones who just missed out, because they are probally all good fire fighters.
Funny how you think that a firefighter you have worked with and is good misses out.
