Post by: Jono on July 22, 2007, 10:05:42 PM
What happens when you speed and don't notice the new round abouts.

Sheit ! .. Very lucky.

Not a good day for rollovers, just listening to the ABC and a fatality in the states far north today on the Stuart Highway.. Never good...  :oops:

Very dark area of Commercial Road on the corner of Grand Boulevard, between Seaford Rd & South Rd. An 80km/hr section of roadway to.

I have noticed that the builders have not left the traffic cones or flashing yellow lights ( maybe they get pinched) at night to indicate the roundabout.

Notice no white dazzle painting yet on the concrete.

Hopefully the new street lights will be in place so you can see the thing.

It is on Seaford Road, not Commercial... Should have said "Very dark area of Seaford Road on the corner of Grand Boulevard, between Commercial Rd & South Rd. An 80km/hr section of roadway to.

It is actually a 25Kph, it drops down from 80 to 60 then 25...

At the moment that part of road is very hazardous, my R31 Skyline understeers majorly doing 15 kph when turning right onto GRND BVDE.

It is also interesting to note that the car ended up in the front yard of the yet to be built MFS station. I didnt go to the call, but the car was sitting there for about a day afterwards.

Unusual SAPOL didnt get it towed away due to hazardous environment ie broken glass etc duty of care to the public :-o

Vehicle=0

Same thing happened when they put the new roundabout on Happy Valley Drive and Manning Road...first night...striiikkkkeee direct hit...coincidentally Commodore again :?

Not unusual for SAPol not to have it towed....not strictly on a road, not causing an obstruction to traffic....hence it is the driver's responsibility to get it taken away....
