Third Floor Fire in building opposite Truscotts on franklin street.

Downgraded back to First Alarm, K88.

Sudden burst of nostalgia... that'd be the old Franklin Telephone Exchange building. Used to work on the third floor, back when 'lectrickery was a new-fangled thing & computers would never "catch on" with the great unwashed.
-
A work crew has been modifying the building for a while. Suspect the building is being converted to apartments or something else.

I think BOMS is broken again, OR SAMFS are bored.
The mind filtered boggles at stupid responses like that.
-
I thought it only went second alarm.
201 was responded initially to a report of smoke in the area, on their way there Comms upgraded it to a first alarm A class response as they were receiving multiple calls, at about the same time 201 arrived and upgraded it to a second alarm A class which bought the rest of the cavalry. From what I can tell it is pretty much a standard response to a confirmed fire in a high rise building.
Interestingly a CFS response to a confirmed fire in an A class structure is an automatic third alarm assignment, that would be eight nuff nuff 24's with a combined pump capacity of about two MFS pumpers - yippee.
-
hahaha 8 24s sounds like fun
-
8 24's now thats what you call Relay Pumping

Did you really need to post this before it was a confirmed fire? Makes you seem like you have no life on the scanner all day :P
