where does Bridgewater's pumper fit into your assessement of things?
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
(and are we sure that it was actually a job?)
Why would you use the tank fill in any other situation than to fill the tank when going to and from a fire ground, should never be used for stationary pumping, there is no way to control the in coming flow, unless you go to the hydrant and turn it off.
If your pulled up and working at a job go through the inlets.
Not that hard is it ?
I did say, that they should be getting their research from the field (that means them the paid types doing the leg work, not us) and then presenting us with solutions, again, based on their research. There are numerous examples around of single person Executives reporting to Boards, no different to that.
I saw it on my private scanner, but there is one online scanner that shows all adresses, not sure if the person wants it public though as its password protected. I guess it is a paging adress that has been removed from the commonly used decoder.
cant help having no pumps on the page if their aren't any to go other then one
I heard Auburn and Williamstown come up on GRN 124 responding to or asking for pages to be sent out! Why was this? was region 2 running through region 1 talkgroup? just curious is all
...I think the SES in this state need to invest in new systems to deal with days like we have had of late....
Darren, I makes me worried if you do not know of the changes happening at MFS ComCen (I thought that was your workplace). Two things holding the changeover and everything else is installed, tested & waiting to go. Affected SES volunteers were officially told three months ago.
Any life threat calls received by SES SCC, the caller is requested to call 000. We do not take the call.
IF the much talked about CAD ever gets here, it will finally make brigades accountable, you can no longer just say jim bob in the ute will check it out. We might actually be able to live up the FIRE SERVICE part of the CFS.
The way things are done now is a joke !
HOW..... I doubt that every emergency vehicle will get data terminal buttons to register the specific vehicle is responding...the cost would be huge...the acknowledgement will still be by phone or radio as it is now. If this is true, then it is still up to the reponding Brigade or Unit to ensure the correct vehicles are responded to the incident.
Nothing changes..Please correct me if I am wrong in my assumptions.
Resources are turned out, not Brigades. Like SAMFS now, Stations don't get turned out, resources do.
