Title: ETSA power outage website
Post by: bajdas on December 21, 2007, 11:46:58 AM
Now using this at work to track likely cause of computer and IT outages in country areas. Not much use if you are affected, but I thought it could be useful.

Ahhhh....I have been to tooo many taskings where a power surge went through the house electonics when the storm went through.....not nice on a TV, stereo, computers, etc....

As stated before, I use this at work in the Adelaide CBD to find out what is happening to distributed power around the state. Gives a good heads-up that a country hospital computer server is about to shutdown because the UPS batteries have gone flat.

I have this website bookmarked on my phone, so when the laptops flat i just go on the net and check where it is, pity the pager site's to big for the phone. I do the same with the BOM site. :-D
