They mean inverted crosses (having crossbar down near the bottom of the upright piece, rather than up near the top like the standard crucifix).

There are also some laughable blues, but they carry guns and know how to use them, so I'll stick to laughing at the oranges.

One question. What is the Dropmaster course? Sounds like some paratrooper qualification, but that seems unlikely, unless the SES are closely related to the SAS just like someone else has suggested.

Given recent threads on this forum, some understanding from other emergency services at what SASES do

Behold, the SES familiarisation thread is now active! The age of the SES being mysterious is almost over!

They were never mysterious, just laughable.

While you kids claim all the countries, I'll be the shady arms dealer who gets rich by supplying all the armies with their weapons.

I think we should declare a war on terror and bomb the two dictator ring leaders Probie and E

If we have a war on terror, do we get to have insurgents that make the invading armies look utterly useless?

Given the revival of 60's and 70's clothing styles as 'modern' fashion, most emo's will argue that their clothing is cutting edge (and highly branded). Of course, I could think of better uses for cutting edges and branding where they are concerned.

Emo's aren't worth the effort of hating. Just laugh at them (or pity them if you really must).

And if you really need a definition of emo, they're the mutant offspring of goths, skater punks, bogans and whining spoilt brats whose parents buy them all the latest fashions to shut them up.

1) been at the corners inquire each day to support volunteers
Have they decided on square or rounded?

Play nice with the kiddies Toast, there's no mandatory spelling/typing test that needs to be passed in order to post here, so let's not go out of our way to poke fun at people's errors.

Having sirens loud enough to rupture everyones eardrums is all very nice, but there will always be some people who simply won't hear the sirens regardless of decibel level. Should we also have electronic signs (similar to those found on the roof of police cars) fitted to the front of the trucks, along with various configurations of lights to garner people's atention. Failing that, we could always just add a plow blade of some sort, to shunt cars out of the way.
