Taken today...

I would have thought that if a brigade that did 2 calls last year was to get a brand new truck they could at least look after it.
-
that things not gonna last long out there....
-
Wasnt this the one Yahl got initially?
-
Yep :-D
Pip

I am not sure if it will stay there much longer i guess this may be its last summer at that brigade and might move else where with in the group to a brigade that does alot more call outs....But that is my guess only.....
-
How much does one of these cost & the two jobs a year thing is a joke - right?
-
2 calls, brand new truck........my poor head, getting sick of shaking side to side.
-
Ladies and Gentlemen this is where your ESL goes.
Chook, as per:
http://fire-brigade.asn.au/Station_Display.asp?Service_Code=SACFS&Station_Code=WATR
2 turnouts last year, 17 total since 2002, 98-99 they recorded a whopping 48.
In all honesty, I don't know why we, as the general public, are not DEMANDING an inquiry as to why we have *very* busy UI Brigades struggling with decades old trucks and places like this are getting a few hundred thousand dollars of never to be used new truck.
It stinks.
-
That truck is probably gonna die young due to rust in 6-8 years???
-
They should swap that with Morphett Vale 24 to match the age gap in the station
-
hi,
just going through some old posts and came across this one.
very interesting in the numbers, numbers said about the calls they had especially in 98-99 (48)
I did some digging and this brigade was called Wattle Range before it was re named Mt. Graham.
It was about the same time that the W Range support brigade was formed, thus i suspect that many of the 48 calls were actually "jobs" that the WR support brigade did and not the Wattle Range / Mt Graham brigade. (would go for the average of 2-3 per year as much closer to the mark)
-
just the way it is i guess.
-
Firegun you are correct, I would like to see this appliance sent to another brigade with in the group and give them a single cab 34 but i guess you know who i would like to see the crew cab go to...Nice day for a drive to the beach....
-
just the way it is i guess.
Sigh.....
