Title: air bag's
Post by: rescue5271 on May 30, 2005, 08:49:06 PM
We did our RCR up skill on Sunday and they where telling us that the life of a air bag was 15 years, does anyone know if there is  some form of xray or test that we can get done to keep these air bags as our's are almost out of date???

I believe they need to be replaced once they are out of date. We just had ours replaced, and although i think they can be tested, (Hydrotested?) the CFS recommends replacing them.
(To be tested, they need to be sent back to the manufacturer)

Easier and i believe safer, to just have them replaced.
