i have found the pager site handy because then you know where roads are blocked, etc. from MVA's
Also certain messages advised me of behind the scenes information into something important that was going to happen and it effected me, so it wasnt a complete shock when the person concerned took further action, I was 1 step ahead of them ...
Unfortunately though in this case it WAS a invasion of privacy, mine!

Just curious, what happens if the shoe is on the other foot and people/staff from SAAS are hassling/harrassing members of the public?

SAMFS / Re: MFS at Nuri
« on: July 24, 2008, 08:47:56 AM »
Hi all,

I dont know the full details about whats going on in reference to Nuri CFS but I will say that YES, Nuri CFS group is fairly strong with members, they respond to call outs very quickly and promptly and the Hazmat facility is called upon to go to other areas because Hazmat facilities are few and far between in the country. Nuri CFS are also strong contenders and winners at cfs competitions.

Anyway, thats only my view

Would like to make mention of another birth on the same day as the one in the message.
His cousin was also born on the same day, different hospital.
Also another cousin was born on Feb. 11th.

Not sure if this posting is actually amusing.
Wonder how the patient would feel knowing the problem was broadcast.

THE ACTUAL COMMENTS IN THE CASE ARE "ABDO PAIN POST SEX" JUST SO YOU KNOW...

Johno,

Yes, it was tragic and perhaps your "BLIEVE" comment might apply to the young lad who was right behind one of the cars involved.
He certainly believed what he saw and it affected him as well.
By the time he got to his home in Waikerie, he needed medical attention for shock.
So how bout you spare a thought for other people in future?
The lad I speak about is related to me.

It seems to me that this person does have problems and for the people who have lived in a small country town, such as Kapunda, will know that people in all the emergency services work together/band together in emergency situations.
They are at a "incident" to do a job and put their political issues aside, therefore they dont put people needing their help at risk.

SA Firefighter General / Responding to old MVA's

Dezza,
you beat me to posting that.
No offence but who looks like the silly person with that message and I wonder if the ambos are happy with being called out to a old incident.
Considering emergency services's time is precious, do they need a muck up like that?
Gee,it even made the radio waves.

Hey Blue and 5271,
that motel in Nuri "purple one" alias The Top Drop is worth driving past! Take it from some-one who knows.
But holidaying in Nuri and Barossa can be fun

considering those 2 paging links have always been found within the SAFF site, I dont understand why they were removed, after all thats where some of the emergency volunteers and their families have found them to view.
Can see those people being confused now!

1 more thing I would like to add in reference to pager messages going public, have looked into it further after the so called "love triagle" message recipient involved the boys in blue, the boys in blue's advise was that personal details on  a site like SAFF indeed is illegal and will be looked into further.

further to your replys, the person who was named, was not aware of this happening until it was too late as they have no connection with any of the emergency services or the agencys and certainly doesnt have a pager.

General enquiry,
the messages I have seen relate to personal info being posted, can some-one please advise me if that is acceptable?
