Title: crew numbers and jobs per year
Post by: cfs3s on April 21, 2013, 08:20:58 PM
I'm new on this site in fact my first words are these, i was just curious to find out how many brigade members you have and average of how many jobs you get a year. Also if you have any ideas of how to attract new members. Our brigade has 11 of which only 3 or 4 work within the town and we have between 50-70 jobs a year this year more like 100 but anyway thanks.

We have 19 active members, on track for about 160 calls this year, with an average of 8 members turning out for each call.
We usually run a yearly recruiting drive at the local shopping centre, some years we get quite a few interested sometimes not as much interest.  Out of the interested ones we usually only get a few that are really keen.

We get around 300 calls per year.
On most day calls, we get one truck out, but at night we can get 2 fully crewed trucks out, have a radio operator, and have about 3-4 people left at the station.

We have about 10-15 active, get about 60-70 calls average from what I can tell, average turnout is 4-5 people. We usually get 34 out, although at times we do struggle to get a driver turn up.
