Title: the new smokey

after seeing the "new lookin" smokey at the show, got me thinking if you saw smoke and did not know who he was would you know what he/she represents??

there is noting to say CFS no hat , jacket, tabard etc


what do you think?

With the old costume, and I suspect the new one, the most common comment from the public was "Oh look, it's Blinky Bill!!"

I would like to see CFS use Smoky a bit more...and actually make him look more like a fire fighter....put him in CFS yellows (which makes him look more CFS, and makes cleaning him easier - and perhaps a cheaper costume to buy!)

Its nice to see that he has been updated but they could have put a CFS helmet or some sort of tabard on him....It must be the time to update all fire service mascots as CFA have not long done the same but their Captain K has a red helmet....

What's the point if he's not in anything to signify CFS? Gotta wonder about the thought processes that happened with that
