Yep, one of the 34's is kept in another station, well shed.

Interesting point, does anyone else still run a sub station, I know Yunta does or did, anyone else ?

I know Rapid Bay have one appliance at Second Valley and the other at Delamere thats the only one I know of.

There used to be quite a few in years gone by. There was a Glossop appliance at Cobdogla. Tea Tree Gully used to have Hope Valley and then Yatala Vale. When you had some mergers in the early 90`s Littlehampton was a sub station of Mt Barker and Flaxley/Greenhills was a substation of Meadows.

Cant recall any others.

Yunta used to have an appliance at Mannahill, but no longer.

Barmera had a sub station at Cobdogla, but no longer.

Monarto sort of have a sub station at Rockleigh, with the Rockleigh appliance living some of the time at Monarto, sometimes at Rockleigh.

I think Waitpinga also has two stations - in the same way Rapid Bay does

SES in metropolitan area are trying to place vehicles in sub-locations. Works well for Sturt and was used years ago for Mitcham (vehicle at Brighton). But like anything related to buildings, it is expensive and complicated.

First though is that Pambula is a long way from SA.
Nice place for a holiday shack.
Would be a well-off brigade to afford a shack at Pambula.
Could be some friction with the local NSWFB too...

Then there's Pambula St Regency Park...
Still a bit far for a sub-station.
